SHE

By Marty P. Cachapero

Lovingly dedicated to Mija Darlene A. Cu

She is intelligent, lovely, caring, charming and nice

Those were the things that had my heart enticed

Her lovely voice puts me in unimaginable bliss

Just seeing her sweet smile purges all my worries

She cheers me up when I’m down and feeling low

She is the cause why my strength glows

Nothing comforts me better than her tight embrace

So in my heart she cannot be replaced

She appreciates my simple and unimportant talents

She is proud of all my modest achievements

She doesn’t mind my numerous imperfections

For her I am God’s most fabulous creation

She is the one I ran to when I have problems

She complements me that’s why we make a perfect tandem

For all that I have done wrong she’s always been a forgiver

She is my best friend, teacher, and lover

She made me laugh and she made me cry

When I am with her I feel like I’m Superman I can fly

Little she knows she indeed brings out the best in me

She constantly makes me want to be a better Marty.

She tutored me when I was reviewing for the bar.

She inspired me to challenge myself and to reach the star

She never abandoned me in my journey

Until I became an Attorney

She is my nurse in my fight over cancer

Tells me to keep my faith for our prayers will be answered

She held me tight when I almost gave up the fight

Vowed that in the darkest day of my life she’ll remain at my side

Her patience meter towards me never goes empty

She never gave up on us even if to let go is necessary

She fought for us even if I’m not worth fighting for

Her unwavering hope is our mighty anchor

Between the two of us I’m the more blessed

For she’s everything to me, that I attest

She’s the one I want to spend the rest of my life with

For me she’s God’s most wonderful gift

Blog Entry25 Random Things About MeFeb 19, '09 10:29 PM
for everyone

First of all I find all these “25 random things...” that are spreading all over facebook like a wildfire weird. However, I must admit they are very informative especially about the people you don’t know that much. I only noticed that only the girls are posting their 25 random things with the exception of some of my gay facebook friends.  I hope posting mine will not make you think I belong to the second group, much more to the first one. I just want to entertain myself since I just got admitted to the league of professional bums.

1. My name is Marty. For me Marty is the cutest name in the universe although some of my college friends told me it sounds like a dog’s name. Even if it sounds like a dog’s name, that doesn’t remove the fact that it is still cute.

2. I was really a pain in the ass when I was a child. I used to engage in street fights and like Pacquiao I always win. I sent home all my opponents weeping with black eyes. Except for three times, when it was me who was sent home with black eyes. Overall, my amateur record was something like 24-3-2.

3. I was born an artist. Until now I think I am Leonardo DaVinci reincarnate. My masterpiece is my self-portrait with partial nudity. I call it Mungay Liza.

4. Everybody says I snore in bed. Well I’m not buying that until I hear it myself.

5. I am a Math wizard. I was the champion in the first ever intra-school math challenge in San Beda College. I kicked everyone’s ass that time and got P500 and a medal as prize.

6. I collect Grant Hill cards and memorabilia, dragon ball figurines, jackets, and shoes. My favorite item is my Grant Hill autographed card Mija bought in Toronto. For everyone’s information Grant Hill is my number 1 Idol in the NBA and the first NBA player I saw personally and that was in Megamall when he visited the Philippines in 1997.

7. I nearly drowned when I was in 5th grade. I jumped in a dam not knowing it was 6 feet high and I was just like 4 feet that time. Luckily my friend saved me. I gave him high five as a reward.

8. I was a member of a rock band back in high school. Our band was called Sesosica. We came of that name by getting the first two letters of our surnames and combining them together. Se is for Seguritan, So for Sonido, Si for Sison, and Ca for Cachapero. Se and So pursued their music career while Si and Ca did not. I played the Rhythm.

9. I am insomniac. I don’t sleep at night. My sleeping time is from 6 AM to 12 Noon. But I am not working as a call center agent. I just got this sickness after taking the bar. I am loving it though. I plan to remain this way until I finally land a job. But screw all those law offices I sent my resume to, until now I haven’t received any reply from them. What they don’t know is that I am way better than most of their associates and I am only applying for a paralegal position.

10. I am in love with my girlfriend’s Barbie doll collection as much as she is. Does this make me gay? I hope not.

11. I am a gadget-addict. I have a PSP, PSX, PS2, Laptop, Cybershot, iPhone, mp3 player, and many others. I just can’t get enough of them. For me they show how amazing human minds are.

12. I am a passive-aggressive type of person. It’s not something to be proud of though.

13. I am afraid of blood. That was the primary reason I didn’t pursue my childhood dream to become a doctor. Well, the bright side of it is that it proves that I am not a creepy vampire.

14. I have a lot of crushes especially when I was in elementary and high school, like all the boys who get attracted to beautiful girls. But I fell in love only once and that’s with the girl I call my girlfriend. She was my crush when we were in grade 3 and began pursuing her when we were in grade 6. After 12 years of continuous courtship, she finally said yes.

15. I have a dog named Tyson, a miniature pinscher. He was given to me by Mija as a Christmas gift. He is the cutest dog in the whole world. His character is very much like mine – snob to strangers, sweet to the familiar. And his bark is stronger, his bite – nothing.

16. I hate CAT and ROTC. I have bad memories of them. I should not have entered COQC if not for my family who are all high ranking CAT officers during their times. One time the Corps Commander in our COQC threw at me a bayonet which happened to be not properly clipped on its sheath. So the bayonet went wild and luckily for me I was not hit by it, but unluckily for one of my classmates who was cut near his eye by the bayonet’s blade. But would you believe all the officers and my classmates blame me for it instead of that “goddemet” Corps Commander. I promised to myself someday I’ll get even with him, but I heard he is now working with the NBI so maybe I have to break that promise. With the ROTC, I failed in my MS 21 and I was forced to clean the Commandant’s CR and jeep just to pass my MS 12.

17. I love pictures especially with me in it. People call it narcissistic personality disorder.

18. I was a baseball superstar back in high school. In our junior year, we had this championship match with the Seniors and I was the 2nd baseman who luckily caught the going-for-the-homerun-flying ball. Without me the Seniors would have won the championship title plus the over-all champion of that year’s intramurals. Many of my batchmates didn’t know about this.

19. I received no awards and honors in high school but I graduated with honors in college. Ha-ha.

20. I nearly enrolled in a seminary in high school. My friend and I was about to take the bus to the seminary but my friend backed out at the last minute so we end up enrolling in the same school we went to in elementary. Lucky for us, we could not have experienced going to a JS prom.

21. I have a business with Mija, a clothes and bags boutique named MC3 located at My Vigan Home Hotel 14 Plaridel St. corner Bonifacio St., Vigan City beside Max’s Restaurant. All pants and shorts are now on sale. Please come and visit us. See you there!

22. My favorite part of going to law school is attending classes without having read anything and you are called by the professor to recite. It happened to me a hundred times. I loved the adrenalin rush.

23. I love driving. I think I can drive Manila-Vigan back and forth 3 straight times without resting. That makes me think considering a driving career. Instead of wasting my time sending my resume to law firms, I should be sending it to bus companies.

24. This may sound too belated but I am now into watching the Friends series. I love all the characters especially Chandler and Monica. I see myself in Chandler. We are both funny and sweet.

25. I dream of becoming a congressman or senator someday. I have a thick portfolio of law ideas which I believe will make this country a better place to live in.

It seems it was only yesterday when we started calling each other dearie and switie. Ironically, it seems also as if I have been with you and have known you for a lifetime.

We have experienced all the emotions and challenges there is to having a relationship. And though it did not come naturally for us to bring out the best in each other, I am proud to say that our love for each other has brought us to so much more - to a level wherein we value who we are as persons individually and yet we are still able to complement each other and in the end, make us want to be a better person for each other. =)

1+1 = 1 pa rin, of course!

ilysme my dearie!

I can still vividly remember the time you said I love you dearie 5 years ago. Nothing compares to the happiness I felt that time. I just didnt think that it was just the start of a wonderful journey and the beginning of the road of an endless love and happiness.

From our first monthsary up to our 5th anniversary, our excitement in counting the time that we were together does not wither. Maybe someday we'll both get tired of counting, for who wouldnt tire out counting a lifetime? But, may our love for each other remain radiant forever.

Happy 5th Anniversary Switie. Ilysme. =)

Blog EntryWho's Dearie?Aug 25, '07 10:10 PM
for everyone

As my birthday present to you, I decided to let the world know who you really are my dearie. So they can take a glimpse of your good qualities and idiosyncracies, which make me love you all the more.

As a GUY - fairly typical guy, loves basketball, would kiss you if you give him a P10 worth of NBA Grant Hill card.

As a GIRL - bordering gay already mainly because of having a maarte gf, loves my barbie dolls maybe more than I love them, when mamang buys me a barbie doll from an out of the country trip, he is as excited as i am to check out the new barbie doll.

As an ILOCANO - proud even to the very smallest of his hometown's achievements.

As a FILIPINO - constantly dreams of being a lawmaker and eventually, a president, so he can implement all the ideas he has to improve how this country works.

As a STUDENT - studies hard and believes that the thirst for learning will never be quenched.

As a LAWYER - he has no bias. he examines both sides and then decides, based on truth and what is right, which side to take. he has principles grounded. Would never compromise his values.

As a FRIEND - would accompany you to the very end. would never bail out on you.

As a BROTHER - his siblings' welfare is top of his list. Would share his experiences and learnings to them, advise them not to commit the same mistakes he had and tell them not to have his bad qualities.

As a SON - he strives hard to make his parents be proud of him and be able to make up for all the sacrifices.

As a PARTNER - only thinks of my welfare. would be angry at me if i don't take care of myself. Loves me for who i am. all that you are, make me love you endlessly my prince. Even if it takes a while for you to warm up to people, and for them to get to know the real you... I know the real you. i love you. =)

Joyeux anniversaire mon dearie! It is such a wondrous feeling to know that we have spent four birthdays together already. It seems like yesterday only when we met outside virgin cafe with our "best porma look" for your 21st birthday, which was our 2nd official date. Hehe jologs memory. :)

We didn't know by then that we will be spending our next birthdays together. So we went from an expensive dinner at virgin cafe to just ordinary meals prepared by your switie as your birthday feast. :)

I look forward to preparing more birthday meals for you my prince, putting up digitial birthday greetings, singing you revised happy birthday songs, waiting for 12MN to come, and eating out two nights in a row :) Hope you have an awesome birthday! I love you so much endlessly :)

Have you ever heard the greatest love story of all time? With an exception to Few people, I doubt. The story I’m referring is not that of sire William Shakespear’s Romeo & Juliet nor any of those love story you have read written by illustrious writers, rather the story of no other than my Switie and I.  It all started when we were still in grade 3, and after 12 years of pursuing the love of my life, though until now I myself could not believe it, she started to feel towards me the very same feelings I have for her. I love my Switie with all my heart, mind and soul and I love her so much endlessly. =)

FEATURED TEAMMATE OF THE MONTH: YAM

Her childhood dream is to become the president of the Philippines one day. She is driven and always strives to excel in everything she does. In high school, she was active in a lot of activities, ranging from being a cheer dancer to becoming the president of the student council, and still managed to have enough time for studies and graduate as the valedictorian of her batch. She later on went to Ateneo de Manila University where she graduated cum laude, BS Chemistry with Computer Engineering.

Now in HP, she can be seen wearing a pink dress, pink skirt, and pink slippers... matched with a hairy pink bag, and holding a cell phone with an attached pink furry ball. No doubt about it, that’s looking at Mija Darlene Cu, or Yam for short. No, this girl is not your typical vain, prissy, fashion-conscious girl… She is, in fact, the opposite, doing what she just likes to do. She enjoys eating, from good foreign food to local street food to any kind of chocolates out there. In the office, she can be very quiet, spending most of her time in front of the laptop working, or locking herself in a huddle room for meetings and calls.

On May 2003, she joined P&G as a member of the BIS Service Management team, working as a duty manager. Together with Terence and Pope, she became part of the pioneer problem management group in Manila. On January 2004, she transferred roles and became one of the pioneering members of the data quality team, which was recognized for their outstanding efforts in streamlining the handling and resolution of data quality tickets. She also worked in several Wella integration projects (AAI, Korea and Japan), and enjoyed success in that field of work as well. She also contributed in documenting DQ support principles (escalations, alignments with CRM and ticket-handling). One project manager really enjoyed working with her and actually requested for her to handle some other projects.

On July 2004, Yam was sent to Singapore for 1½ months to start up the HP 2nd level support for ForecastOne. “Forecast Fast, Forecast Easy, Forecast Right”. That is the motto of the ForecastOne team. ForecastOne is a single forecast tool driving standardization and simplification of the entire profit forecasting process. For a few months, Yam was a one-woman team for ForecastOne. Even though alone, she was able to survive and on March 2005, 3 more members, namely Kathy Imbuido, Abejane Macalintal and Daisie Sy, came. With these “newbies”, Yam as team lead had to handle training and support all by herself. Needless to say, this was also hard-work which is time-consuming and very stressful. Nevertheless, the team was able to push through. Initially, ForecastOne was only supporting the AAI Market. On October 2005, Regional Expansion Phase 1 was put into effect; thus, supporting NEA and LA. Currently, the team is preparing for Regional Expansion Phase 2 which will provide support to NA and WE.

Currently, Yam still works for F1, as P&G does not want her to leave the role because she is indispensable for F1. There has been countless praises for her work in F1, from her business contacts in 1st level support in P&G, all the way to the managers and business owners. Her dedication and passion to her work has shown with the results she has delivered for F1 for P&G, and this has definitely given P&G a good impression on HP and what we can provide for them. Putting customers first, providing active support and contributing helpful suggestions are just some of her ways to show her vigor. It’s no wonder the customers love her so much!

So, if ever Yam decides to run for the presidency in the future, be sure to vote for her. We’ll be in good hands with Yam leading us!

Blog EntryIlocos For SaleMay 29, '06 12:23 AM
for everyone

Which place will you pick as the most beautiful in the world? Is it the fascinating Paris, or the alluring Las Vegas or the historical Rome or even the ancient Athens or the modern Tokyo? Well, these places are all truly and exquisitely magnificent. However, none of these places I consider the world's most beautiful.

My choice may be the least expected; but, the most beautiful place in the world for me is my home province, Ilocos. Why? Because Ilocos has more to offer than other famous places, local and foreign, in terms of beautiful destinations. Unfortunately, only a handful knows of this fact or if they are aware of it, it is disregarded or put into oblivion. Worse is, even my fellow Ilocanos are unaware of our province's innate beauty and exquisite natural treasures.  Let me enumerate some of these places:

Our province has a long list of places that we Ilocanos should be proud of. Who doesn't know of the famous old Spanish structures in Vigan City, built during the Spanish occupation in our province in 15th Century. It is as if you have been transported back in the past once you are in the realm of Vigan for it still evokes the appearance and ambiance of the days past. How about the enduring Paoay Church, famous for its distinct architecture which is a mixture of baroque, gothic and oriental and built of coral blocks and stucco-plastered bricks. Beside it is a coral-stone bell tower which served as the observation post of katipuneros and guerillas during the Philippine Revolution and Japanese occupation, respectively. Together with Sta. Maria Church, they are two of the only four baroque churches left in the Philippines. People who visit Ilocos never fail to see these three UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The residential house of the late president Ferdinand Marcos you will find in Batac, where the said president's remains lie. The Malacanang of the North in Paoay was built to serve as the residential house of President Marcos and his family in Ilocos during his incumbency. It is located on top of a hill overlooking the legendary Paoay Lake. The white sand beaches in Pagudpud matches the world-class beaches in the Philippines and abroad. And also the Fort Ilocandia Resort, a five star hotel and one of the country's finest, which reflects the taste and character of the Ilocanos.

There are other places in Ilocos not as famous as the places I have already mentioned yet equally stunning. These include the museum of the great Filipino painter Juan Luna found in Badoc. The building is a replica of the Luna family residence standing on the same land where it was originally stood. It now serves as a repository of Juan's memorabilia and copies of his great works. Another place is the breath-taking Karinking Mountain River Resort in Solsona. It traverses the Sierra Madre mountain ranges. A mountain river is not common in our country and we see this kind only on National Geographic Channel. I remember a well-traveled American friend of my father even commented after having visited the said resort, that it is the most amazing and most beautiful place he have ever seen in his entire life.

Visit the town called Currimao and you will see there the coral rock formation and the Green Nipa International Resort. The towering and lengthy coral rocks are perfect background for your picture shots; while, the Green Nipa Resort can quench your thirst for a real paradise rest. The latter is a village-like resort of bali-style cottages with excellent landscape and has complete resort facilities. In Pagudpud you will see the Patapat viaduct, a bridge-like structure connecting two provinces, Ilocos Norte and Cagayan Valley. The said viaduct is the favorite venue for shooting TV advertisements and background for magazine covers. And if you are looking for the unique picnic place then I suggest you go to Vintar where you will find in awe floating bamboo-made picnic huts scattered all over the Vintar River. It truly shows how creative the Ilocano people are.

Everyone knows the busy Laoag City but only a few notice of its sinking bell tower located in the heart of the city proper.  Travel east of Laoag and you will find Sarrat church, which is considered as one of the country's biggest churches, if not the biggest. If you have not seen yet a windmill then I advice you to visit Bangui where you will see the country's first windmill power plant. The Cape Bojeador Lighthouse in Burgos, which stands on promontory, and considered as the tallest lighthouse in the country and even in Asia. And last in my personal list but not the least is the Pug-os beach cove in Cabugao which is even tagged by Boy Abunda as the Boracay of the North.

The places that I have mentioned are only among our province's magnificent destinations. There are a lot more. But judging by the places aforementioned, Ilocos is indeed beautiful, in the truest meaning of the word. Every place is beautiful. Each has unique character and feature which separates it from others. My choice is only my version of world's most beautiful place. Every choice will depend upon one's point of view, taste and standard. As the old saying goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Blog EntryLIVE (or leave) IT, LOVE ITMay 10, '06 12:32 PM
for everyone

I know Hong Kong as much as I know my name because it was the subject of my country case study in my Development Economics subject back in college. I know every little thing about it, from the details of its history down to the value of its currency against Philippine peso. The only thing I didn't know was its appearance. I have never been to Hong Kong not until last month when I traveled there with my Switie and her family for a few days of vacation. Not really intended to be a vacation because I was to send off my Switie on our last day since she was sent by their company to go to Toronto, Canada for a 2-week training at Procter & Gamble. But that will be another blog entry. =)

Like any other person who had the chance to see Hong Kong, I was astounded by its beauty.  I have already seen several countries but nothing compares to Hong Kong. In terms of architectural designs, technological advancement, people’s fashion style and lifestyle, standard of living, it stands tall compared to its neighboring countries. Despite its tiny land area, it is so amazing how Hong Kong nationals were able to maximize their land and material resources to make their country what it is now. If only we Filipinos have the same way of thinking, ingenuity and discipline like the people in Hong Kong, we would have at least equal their achievements.  The Philippines has been left behind by our neighbors in Asia whose economy are constantly surging.

What I like most in Hong Kong is its stunning cosmopolitan scenery.  It is so futuristic. I felt I was placed into a time machine and transported into the future when I first stepped into that foreign land.  The feeling was intensified when we rode the train from the Chek Lap Kok Airport to our hotel. The view was so amazing! Buildings and various structures are everywhere plus its excellent natural harbour which all reflect its shimmering affluence. Everything seems so perfect.

However, despite all these compliments, I believe Hong Kong is not the best place to live in, especially to those medium and low income earners.  According to a survey which I previously read, among the countries in the whole Asian region, Hong Kong is the most expensive place to live in.  Based on my personal experience, you have to have a large sum of money to sustain a few days stay in Hong Kong. Imagine a taxi ride there for a few kilometers of a similar distance from Makati to Cubao which would cost you just about P100 if you were in Metro Manila, we paid P1400 in peso equivalent; also, any burger meal at McDonalds would cost you not less than a hundred pesos; a Replay pants for P17,000, you can buy the same item at Shangrila or Glorietta for P13,000. Almost everything that is for sale in Hong Kong has an astronomical price, except to a very few items at Sham Shui Po.

However, as an overall assessment, Hong Kong is one of the best places in the world for me and for my Switie’s family (the reason why they keep going back). I love it, especially the unforgettable Hong Kong Disneyland where I and my dearest Switie spent a perfect whole day together! And you’ll love Hong Kong too once you see it. As Hong Kong’s tourism slogan goes… live it, love it! =)

Blog EntryMC3 Goes To The Fort StripMar 28, '06 4:16 AM
for everyone

Whenever there are matters my switie and I do not agree upon, it is always her idea that prevails. Like what happened when we joined the heart-to-heart bazaar in the fort strip. At first, i did not buy the idea of joining such kind of venture since i know that it would entail a lot of sacrifices. Setting up the booth is an example, not to mention the long hours of selling our items. But what my switie wants, my switie gets. Eventually, i aquiesced to what my switie wants, and we applied for slot in the said bazaar.

Come February 23, my belief was proven right. The scorching heat had added to the difficulty of setting up our booth. If not for the timely pouring of the rain, we could have fainted right there at the fort strip. After having made our booth, we thought we no longer have anything to worry about, but we realized we still have a bigger problem to deal with. It seemed that we were in a wrong market, that the fort strip was not the right place for our products.

We were really worried. After five hours of waiting, not a single customer came. I even bought myself a cellphone keychain as buena mano just to stop the tears from my switie's eyes from falling. And we asked switie's papang to visit our booth after his office and to make a purchase for the fear that nobody might buy any of our items. We were paranoid, especially my switie. But the paranoia was stripped off our system when our first ever legitimate customer arrived. And after that another customer arrived, followed by another customer, and so on. The worries and sadness in us were replaced by overwhelming happiness, that despite the great risk, we were able to sustain our first day.

Our second day was not a success story as what happened during the first day because of GMA's proclamation No. 1017 (pasaway talaga!). Our third day was similar to the first day only with a peculiar, or should i call it a funny, event. Atty. Estelito Mendoza came to our store a few minutes after Emma Lim left. They came with their respective families and have made purchases in our store. Remember Erap's impeachment case scenario? It’s just funny to think what would have happened if they saw one another that night. Would my idol Atty. Mendoza now agree with Emma Lim that "hindi talaga nakakain ang ice tea"? Haji Alejandro and his very young girlfriend also went to our store but did not buy anything (kuripot). Hehe. Our last day was cut short because of the incident that transpired in Fort Bonifacio.

That was the story of our experience at the Fort Strip. We may have gained only a little but at least the experience we had was something worthwhile. It was an experience from which we were able to pick up few lessons and tips for improvement. We still have a lot of things to learn in this kind of undertaking, but through experiences and information from external sources, we hope to improve and mature.

Blog EntryTara na sa Cebu, dong!Sep 30, '05 4:08 AM
for everyone

I spent last weekend in Cebu with my switie, her family and some of the friends of my her mamang. It was my first time to visit a town outside of Luzon and it was also my first time to travel right before my final examination week! But I don't have any regrets having joined my switie's family trip to the oldest town in the country for 3 reasons:

First, the trip did not at all disturb my preparations for my exams. It even made me feel relaxed prior to our final exams, just what I exactly needed.

Second, I enjoyed it even if we were there for only two days. I love the place. It suits my taste and that of my switie's. It is a mixture of a busy and complex urban place same as Manila, and a relaxing and calm rural place like our province Ilocos. I also love the food. Since I was a child I hated seafoods, but after I had tasted the Cebuano's seafood dishes, I now crave for it especially the luscious baked scallops (my mouth is watering just thinking of it).

And third, I have spent another two perfect and unforgettable days with my beloved switie and her family, who I also love so dearly.

Blog EntryAll-In-One ShampooSep 2, '05 6:22 AM
for everyone

Nothing can perfectly describe my Switie than by saying she is like her favorite brand of shampoo, Rejoice, because for me she’s all in one. She’s not just my Switie but also my bestfriend, my number one critic, my tutor/teacher, my quasi conscience, and among others, rolled into one.

She is my bestfriend. Never did I have a friend whose company I enjoyed so much, who I can run to in times when I needed someone to broach my concerns and worries, who remained by my side no matter what happened, until I found her.

She is my number one critic. She constantly imbues me of my mistakes and shortcomings. But with her help, I become capable of correcting and overcoming them making me a better person.

She is my tutor/teacher. I really learned a lot from her in almost every aspect of life. What else would you expect, my Switie is a cum laude alumnae of ADMU with a double major degree.

She is my quasi conscience (like that of the safeguard soap advertisement). She guides me in determining which is right and which is wrong especially when my discerning skill is not working well. She helped me quit my smoking vice which at first I thought was impossible to end.

And of course she’s my lovey dovey. I don’t know what have become of me without her in my life. Only God knows if I and my switie would still be together after this lifetime. But if the Lord will give me the chance to choose who I want to be with eternally, without second thought I will choose my switie for I love her so much endlessly!

for everyone

My dearie is such a wonderful being. He really never ceases to amaze me. Just when i was complaining that he lacks appreciation skills, he spends four straight hours just arranging my pictures in the net and giving them captions. That is supreme expression of appreciation. He is so passionate in the way i look and in all the things that i do. Would you imagine, he was the one who put all the captions in my pictures. It was as if hearing myself. My dearie really knows me oh so well. Thank you very much my prince for treating me like a princess always, especially on days when i am acting like no princess. I miss you soooooooo much my everdearest! I wish you were here with me. You would die when yousee the Niagara Falls!=) I supeeeeeeeeeeeer love you so much endlessly! Super na nga, endlessly pa. =)

Blog EntryAnd I Miss HerSep 2, '05 6:21 AM
for everyone

People are accustomed of saying the “I miss you” line whenever the circumstances call for its utterance. It’s sweet to say I miss you to someone, it’s undoubtedly true. It is also a manifestation of how important the person is to you. I admit I also use the statement most of the time whenever I’m missing my ever dearest Switie. But I hate missing my Switie! I hate it for all I want is to be with her every single second. I know as for now that is simply impossible most especially now that on May 13 my Switie is heading for Toronto, Canada for a 10-day work training. I wish I can accompany her there, but multitudinous factors won’t allow me (one of them is that I don’t have a Canadian visa). I will surely miss her when those days come, and I hate it!

We have been together as Switie and Dearie for almost three years now. I know I have a lot to know yet about my princess but here are the things I love and I'm crazy about her: (1) her unique smile and laughter that purge all my worries and lighten up my world; (2) her being sweet and thoughtful which makes me always wonder what have I done to be worthy of a love so great as what I am receiving from her; (3) her indefatigable patience that though things seem hopeless she never gives up and in every case holds the belief that every problem has a solution; (4) her being so prissy, very much like Kris Aquino except of course the controversies; and (5) her being religious, a trait she acquired from her dearest parents.

for everyone

After Marty's class, we went to Urban Escape Spa along Timog. We have been wanting to go to a spa but never had the time. It was our first time to actually have a full body massage in a spa! Hahaha.. It was very exciting especially for Marty since it was his first time to have a serious full body massage. =) So, we had a combination of Shiatsu and Swedish massage. After 1 hour, we were just so relaxed.. =)
